Another 43 illegal Afghans netted

RAWALPINDI:

Search operations against illegal Afghan residents continued in different areas of Rawalpindi. During the operations, a total of 43 illegal Afghan residents were arrested following the verification of the documents of 1,870 people.

The police registered 31 cases against those who failed to register rental data. The Rawalpindi Police was assisted by security-related agencies including Special Branch, CTD, Elite Police and other relevant personnel during the search.

Operations were simultaneously conducted in the areas of Naseerabad, Cantt, Sadrwah, Morgaon, Westridge and other areas , during which the details of 1,039 houses, 721 shops and 25 hotels were checked. A kiln and a truck stand were also combed.
