Student dies in road accident
A car collided with a motorcycle in Ahmed Nagar, resulting in the death of a student, while two others were injured.
Rescue 1122 officials said the injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital (DHQ). In the accident, Haseeb, a 14 years old resident of Lalian, was killed, while Muhammad Faizan, 16, and Zeeshan Ali, 15, suffered injuries.
The Rescue 1122 team later transferred one severely injured student to the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad, the officials added.
Meanwhile, in Sargodha, the district police arrested three drug peddlers and seized narcotics from them on Monday.
The Kotmomin police conducted a raid and arrested Gul Baz, Akraam and Attique, seizing 2.8kg of hashish from them. Separate cases were registered against the suspects and an investigation was under way.
