Avengers: Doomsday AI leaks flood social media but credibility remains doubtful

Fake AI-generated Avengers: Doomsday leaks featuring Downey Jr. and Maguire flood social media ahead of 2026 release

As anticipation builds for Avengers: Doomsday, social media has been flooded with purported “leaks” of the upcoming Marvel movie.

Many of these images feature stars like Robert Downey Jr., Patrick Stewart, and Tobey Maguire, claiming to reveal key moments from the 2026 blockbuster. However, experts and fans alike have raised doubts, pointing out inconsistencies in image quality, angles, and realism.

The majority of these so-called leaks are likely AI-generated, creating convincing yet fabricated scenes. Observers note that some images are suspiciously sharp while others are blurry, despite being allegedly taken at the same time, a common sign of AI manipulation. Similar false leaks have previously circulated in other superhero franchises, such as DC’s Supergirl set videos featuring Jason Momoa, which were quickly debunked.

Despite the spread of fake content, Marvel Studios remains confident in its lineup for 2026. The summer will see the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, followed by Avengers: Doomsday in December. Both films are expected to attract massive audiences, continuing the MCU’s trend of billion-dollar openings and ensuring strong box office returns.

Looking ahead, 2027 will culminate with Avengers: Secret Wars, likely closing the Multiverse Saga with one of the franchise’s biggest films to date. The Russo brothers are reportedly part of Marvel’s creative planning for the upcoming Mutant saga, aiming to deliver a more cohesive and satisfying narrative for fans.

For now, Marvel enthusiasts are advised to approach online leaks cautiously. Until official releases and verified footage are shared, most images circulating online are likely AI-generated and should be treated as speculation rather than confirmed content.
