Man killed in family scuffle

JARANWALA:

Middle-aged man killed by three family members, including husband and wife, during fight in Ghulam Mohammad Abad area.

Sadiqa Muneez, filed a case stating that accused Ijaz, his wife Saira Ijaz, and two others beat her father Nazeer Ahmad during a scuffle.

He was hospitalized and later died of injuries. Police registered a case under Section 302 PPC against the suspects and started searching for them.

Meanwhile, the body of a woman was found from a canal in Jaranwala city police precincts. On Friday, locals spotted the body of around 25-year old woman floating in Gogeera branch canal waters and informed the police.

A police team, with the help of Rescue-1122, fished out the body and shifted it to mortuary for postmortem. Police suspect that she had been killed her body thrown into the canal water. Police registered a report and are searching for heirs and the killers.
