Vawda hints at 'fresh wave of resignations'

Senator Faisal Vawda on Thursday said those who tried to "stir a storm in a cup of tea" had failed in their efforts, adding that all incoming resignations would be accepted immediately.

Vawda made the remarks in a post on his official X handle without naming anyone.

"The chaos I referred to over the last three or four days—the attempt to stir a storm in a cup of tea—has failed," he said.

"Those whose resignations are coming in will be immediately accepted. This is just the beginning. More resignations are expected, and they too will be accepted immediately. No one has done any exceptional work. In fact, their service was about to end," he added.
