Prosecution seeks time in Qureshi's bail cases
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday adjourned the hearing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi's bail petitions in three May 9 cases after the prosecution sought more time to present the complete case record.
Presiding Judge Manzar Ali Gul expressed displeasure over the prosecution's failure to produce the documents despite earlier directions, granting a final opportunity to submit the record by the next hearing on November 17.
The PTI vice chairman faces three separate cases registered under terrorism charges, pertaining to violent incidents involving the torching of police vehicles in Mughalpura.
