An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday granted a 13-day physical remand of 18 workers of a banned religious party in a case involving murder and terrorism.
ATC Administrative Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings as police produced the accused before the court.
The investigating officer submitted that the suspects have already been identified during an identification parade, and a case under charges of murder, attempted murder, and terrorism has been registered against them at Nawan Kot Police Station.
The officer requested a 30-day physical remand, stating that sticks and rods used in the attack were yet to be recovered.
