Max B and Jim Jones’ feud reignites online as bots and 50 Cent stir up drama after Max’s prison release

Max B and Jim Jones’ long-running feud appears to have resurfaced on social media shortly after Max’s release from prison.
The rapper, who was incarcerated in 2009, was freed over the weekend, sparking a wave of online chatter—much of which may not be authentic.
According to AllHipHop’s Houston Williams, several accounts reigniting the Max B–Jim Jones drama appear to be bots, showing signs of automated activity such as minimal followers and repetitive posts. The renewed tension quickly caught attention across hip hop circles, with fans and celebrities speculating about whether the feud was truly reigniting or being fueled artificially.
Max B previously expressed a desire to end the beef and move forward. Speaking to Complex, he said, “Jim said a bunch of hard sh*t about me… It’s all good. Listen, man. It’s love. I want to start over. I’m a new man. I got four kids. I’m out here to get my money and ride out the sunset.”
Meanwhile, Jim Jones has remained quiet on the matter but recently dropped a new album titled The Fall Before The Rise.
Adding fuel to the online frenzy, 50 Cent weighed in with an Instagram post referencing Max’s release, joking, “Max home—it’s packed in Harbor, Jimmy about to drop a dime.” The G-Unit rapper has traded jabs with Jones in recent months, keeping the rivalry in the public eye.
Whether genuine fan activity or bot interference, the renewed focus on Max B and Jim Jones proves that their storied feud still captures hip hop’s attention.
