Fans speculate Blueface may have been released from prison after his mother shared a video of a man in bed at home

Social media lit up over the weekend with speculation that rapper Blueface may have been released from prison after his mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, shared a video that appeared to show a man, possibly the rapper, lying in bed at home.

In the clip, posted to her Instagram Story on November 2, Karlissa films a man under the covers as Blueface’s young son, Javaughn Jonathan Porter, walks into the room smiling.

“Your dad threw them all off didn’t he?” Karlissa says in the video, referencing the pillows scattered on the floor. She later added another post that read, “Thank you God.”

The post immediately sparked online speculation, with fans debating whether Blueface had been released. The rapper has been in prison since January 2024, serving a four-year sentence related to a 2021 assault case. He also faced a warrant in Las Vegas for a 2022 shooting incident.

Despite the excitement, neither Blueface nor his representatives have confirmed any release. Many fans online questioned the timing and authenticity of the clip, with some pointing out that the man in the video looked smaller than the rapper.

Earlier this month, Karlissa told TMZ that her son would be released “in days” and shared that she’d been preparing for his return home for a year.

She also mentioned that Blueface had gained about 70 pounds while incarcerated but was “doing well” and eager to resume his career and fatherhood.

“Moving forward, he’s going to have to be fully accountable for his decisions,” Karlissa said. “I’m going to hold him accountable. His dad is going to hold him accountable. And we know who those people are.”

For now, fans are still waiting for official confirmation, but if Karlissa’s posts are any indication, Blueface’s return might not be far off.
