Big Sean and Jhené Aiko reportedly break up after 10-year relationship

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have reportedly parted way, ending their 10-year long relationship. Aiko allegedly cited commitment issues as the reason for their breakup.

According to sources, Aiko made the difficult decision after “multiple ultimatums” and ongoing disagreements about marriage.

“She wanted marriage — she wanted the commitment,” one source said. “Sean loves her deeply, but he just never wanted to take that final step.”

The pair share a 3-year-old son and have been dating on and off since the mid-2010s. In 2016, they formed a duo called Twenty88 and released an album by the same name.

“Eventually, she realized that ring wasn’t coming,” the insider said. “She decided it was time to move on.”

Reports suggest that the couple parted on amicable terms. “They’re in a great place — it’s peaceful. They both respect each other too much to let things get messy. They just want to do what’s best for their child,” the source said.

Both individuals appear to be focusing on their music as fans have spotted the R&B singer in the studio, while the rapper is reportedly preparing his next album.
