ISLAMABAD:
A parliamentary panel was told on Wednesday that production of disposable syringes in the country from 1994 to 2006 remained unchecked due to a stay-order obtained by manufacturers.
The National Assembly Standing Committee on Government Assurance was informed that production had remained unchecked against a notification of the government.
The committee also expressed dissatisfaction over the explanation
given by the Drugs Control Administration of Cabinet Division.
