CS checks dengue wards
.

Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah paid surprise visits to Civil Hospital, JPMC, and Shah Faisal 50-Bedded Hospital to inspect dengue treatment facilities.
He expressed concern over the absence of a dedicated dengue ward at Civil Hospital and directed immediate setup and improvement of emergency services. Only four dengue patients were under treatment at Civil Hospital, while JPMC's dengue ward had none.
Chairing a high-level meeting later, Shah emphasised bridging the gap between actual dengue data and media reports. He instructed Deputy Commissioners to intensify fumigation drives, clear stagnant water, and share spray schedules publicly.
