Dengue cases decline as mercury dips

RAWALPINDI:

With the change in weather, dengue cases in Rawalpindi have begun to decline.

Only ten new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to the health department.

So far, 1,232 dengue patients have been reported this season, with 37 still under treatment in various hospitals. Anti-dengue operations continue in affected localities.

A total of 19,198 patients have been tested for dengue this year, and no deaths have been reported so far.
