Man killed at housing society office

LAHORE:

A man was allegedly tortured to death and his three sons were injured in violence involving employees of a private housing society in the Kahna area.

According to police and eyewitnesses, the deceased, identified as Sadiq, along with his sons Tariq, Sajid, and Tashid, had reportedly purchased two houses on installments in the housing society.

The administration of the society allegedly summoned the family to their office, where an altercation took place. Police said that during the confrontation, several society staff members allegedly attacked the family with sticks and punches, leaving all four severely injured.

The elderly Sadiq reportedly fell to the ground after being pushed and succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

The body was shifted to a morgue for post-mortem examination, while the injured sons were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
