Actor and director Usman Mukhtar, celebrated his fourth wedding anniversary with wife Zunaira Inam Khan, sharing a touching message that revealed his deep affection for his family and his thoughtful approach to life.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Islamabad-based actor reminisced about his teenage years, recalling the carefree days of "zero responsibilities, no stress and unlimited bad hair choices."

Yet, he admitted that he would never trade those times for his present life, saying, "No version of life feels right without you and Siera in it." He expressed gratitude for Khan's unwavering support, describing her as the person who keeps him "grounded, sane, and a little less chaotic."

Adding his characteristic humour, Mukhtar quipped that without her, he would just be "a mess, in Crocs, shorts, and that ridiculously oversized monkey T-shirt you hate." The actor concluded his message with warmth, saying, "You're my best friend, my voice of reason, and my favourite person to annoy forever. Happy 4th Anniversary, Zunu!"

Usman Mukhtar and Zunaira Inam Khan tied the knot in an intimate nikkah ceremony in 2021. The couple welcomed their daughter, Siera Inam Mukhtar, on February 23, 2025.

Khan, who heads the Afghanistan Programme at Islamabad's Institute of Regional Studies, has a distinguished career in research focusing on international law, human rights and foreign policy.

She holds a double master's degree in International Law and International Relations from the University of Western Australia, and has previously worked with Walk Free in Australia, the Mountain and Glacier Protection Organisation, and Fazilia Trust Pakistan.

Beyond his personal milestones, Mukhtar recently opened up about a professional decision that has defined his career. During a Q&A session with fans, he shared that he limits his acting projects to Islamabad to remain close to his mother, who suffers from dementia.

"She's bedridden and needs constant supervision," he wrote, adding that long shooting schedules elsewhere would keep him away from her for months. His decision to prioritise family over frequent television appearances has drawn widespread respect from fans, who admire his integrity both on and off screen.

While audiences may wish to see more of him, Mukhtar's choices reflect a deep sense of responsibility and emotional maturity - qualities that continue to endear him to admirers across Pakistan's entertainment industry.
