Kim Kardashian revealed a shocking health diagnosis in the season 7 premiere of The Kardashians, sharing that she was recently diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.

The 45-year-old reality star and SKIMS founder opened up about the condition during a teaser clip that aired during the episode.

In the scene, Kim is seen undergoing an MRI scan before telling her family, “There was a little aneurysm.” When her sister Kourtney Kardashian reacts in shock, Kim explains that her doctors believe the condition was caused by “stress.”

The mother of four admitted that much of that stress came from her difficult divorce from ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West. “I’m happy it’s over,” she said tearfully. “My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”

Kim also revealed that her psoriasis — a chronic skin condition she’s struggled with for years — had flared up again, which she linked to renewed emotional strain. “I haven’t had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back,” she shared.

According to the Mayo Clinic, brain aneurysms occur when a blood vessel in the brain bulges or balloons. Most are small and harmless, but ruptures can cause serious complications such as hemorrhagic strokes.

Reflecting on her situation, Kim said her main focus is protecting her children — North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 — from public scrutiny and their father’s controversies. “They’re gonna grow up and see things,” she said. “My job as a mom is to make sure they’re protected.”
