PPP summons key huddle over AJK alliance

Party to weigh staying in or quitting coalition tomorrow

Political winds continue to shift in AJK as the PPP has summoned yet another high-level huddle to decide the fate of its alliance with the regional government.

The parliamentary party of PPP AJK will meet tomorrow at Zardari House in Islamabad to review the evolving political landscape, confirmed party spokesperson Javed Ayub.

Faryal Talpur will chair the session in her capacity as head of Kashmir Affairs. PPP AJK President Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin is expected to arrive along with senior office-bearers and members of the party's core committee.

According to insiders, the participants will debate whether the party should remain part of the ruling coalition in Azad Kashmir or move toward political separation. Sources hint that key decisions could emerge that may reshape the power dynamics in Muzaffarabad.

This will be the fourth strategy meeting of the PPP's Azad Kashmir parliamentary group during the current month—reflecting growing internal consultations over policy and governance concerns.
