Health dept website still displays Gandapur

Despite a change of government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the official website of the provincial health department still features the names and photographs of former chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur and former health adviser Ehtisham Ali, exposing the department's failure to update even its basic digital records.

The website continues to operate with outdated information, showing little progress despite repeated official announcements about digitising governance under a "paperless policy".

At the start of the current government's tenure, all major hospitals and administrative departments in the province were directed to go digital to streamline operations, accelerate decision-making and reduce reliance on physical documentation to ease pressure on the public exchequer.

However, according to sources, the plan never moved beyond official declarations, with neither the health department's website upgraded nor the broader digitisation project implemented.
