Moot on nutrition encourages research

The 3rd International PNDS Nutrition Conference organised by the Pakistan Nutrition and Dietetic Society (PNDS) in collaboration with Hamdard University Islamabad campus, brought together 300 national and international experts, practitioners, researchers and students under the theme "Bridging the Gap Between Clinical and Public Health Nutrition."
The three-day event served as a platform for sharing scientific evidence, innovative practices and strategies to enhance nutrition leadership and capacity development across disciplines.
On its third day, the conference featured a keynote address by National Heart Institute, Malaysia, Chief Dietitian Mary Easaw on "Empowering Nutrition Leaders: Effective Health Communication and Entrepreneurship." She highlighted the pivotal role of leadership, innovation and communication in elevating the influence and visibility of nutrition professionals in healthcare systems and communities.
In his closing remarks, The Nutrition Society (UK) CEO Mark Hollingsworth, commended PNDS for its continued progress and professionalism.
