Board moves against absent teachers

DI KHAN:

The Examination Department of the Dera Ismail Khan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has issued lists of teachers who remained absent from duty during the Matric Annual (Second) Examinations, following the special directives of the Board Chairman.

The department has also requested the concerned district education officers to initiate departmental action against the absent staff.

Earlier, several teachers assigned to invigilation duties in the ongoing Matric Annual (Second) Examinations failed to report at their respective examination centres.

Moreover, many of these teachers were also found absent from their own schools during the examination days, allegedly staying home and enjoying unofficial leave.
