PTI counsel concludes arguments in Toshakhana case

RAWALPINDI:

PTI's counsel Salman Safdar on Thursday concluded his final arguments in the Toshakhana-II case as the hearing was adjourned until Oct 29.

The hearing against PTI founding chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi was held at Adiala Jail before Special Judge Central Islamabad Shah Rukh Arjumand.

During the proceedings, defence counsel Salman Safdar concluded his final arguments. The court directed that the prosecution and defence present counterarguments at the next hearing.

The case was subsequently adjourned till Oct 29.

Imran and Bushra Bibi were produced in the courtroom from jail for the hearing. The former prime minister's sisters, brother-in-law Sohail Khan, and Dr Nausherwan Burki were also present in the courtroom.

Senator Mishal Yousafzai, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, and Salman Akram Raja were among those in attendance.
