Streamer Morgpie admitted during a recent live broadcast that she feels uneasy about publicly sharing her opinion on fellow Twitch creator HasanAbi, sparking conversation across social media.

“I don’t want to publicly state my opinion because I’m scared,” Morgpie said, laughing nervously during the exchange. When asked why, she jokingly added, “I’m being silenced!” Her lighthearted tone contrasted with the apparent hesitation behind her words, reflecting the pressure many online creators face when discussing divisive figures.

She went on to mention that she and HasanAbi have interacted in person before, describing their encounters as friendly. “Every time I see him, he looks happy to see me,” she said. “He’s like, ‘Morgpie! Woohoo!’”

The clip quickly spread online, reigniting discussions surrounding HasanAbi, one of Twitch’s most recognizable political commentators. Known for his outspoken left-leaning commentary and strong online following, HasanAbi has long been both praised and criticized for his unapologetic style and influence within digital political spaces.

Her comments come as HasanAbi continues to face scrutiny following the recent dog training collar controversy. Earlier this month, the streamer clarified that the collar seen in a viral clip was a vibration device, not a shock collar, and explained that it was used under the guidance of a professional trainer for his dog, Kaya.

While Morgpie’s remarks were playful, they highlight a broader issue among online creators, the growing fear of backlash when commenting on polarizing figures.
