Taylor Swift has once again rewritten chart history. The pop superstar now holds the entire top 12 positions on the Billboard Hot 100, led by her new single “The Fate of Ophelia,” from her record-breaking album The Life of a Showgirl.
This marks the first time in history that an artist has completely dominated the top dozen spots on the chart.
On the chart dated October 18, “The Fate of Ophelia” debuted at No. 1, giving Swift her 13th career Hot 100 leader. The rest of the top 12 includes tracks such as “Opalite,” “Elizabeth Taylor,” “Father Figure,” and “The Life of a Showgirl” featuring Sabrina Carpenter. With this feat, Swift extends her record as the only artist ever to occupy the entire top 10—now doing so for a third time.
According to data from Luminate, “The Fate of Ophelia” scored 92.5 million official U.S. streams, marking the highest single-week streaming total since 2020. The track also entered Radio Songs at No. 7, making it one of only five songs ever to debut in the top 10.
The Life of a Showgirl continues its massive success after debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with the biggest album sales week since 1991. Swift now surpasses JAY-Z with 15 No. 1 albums—the most for any solo artist.
This latest milestone further cements Taylor Swift’s unmatched dominance in music history, proving once again that she reigns supreme on the charts.
