Andrew Garfield has put an end to speculation about his involvement in Avengers: Doomsday, delivering a blunt and unmistakable response.
When asked whether he would reprise his role as Spider-Man alongside Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland, Garfield replied, “No, unequivocally fucking no.”
The two-time Oscar nominee, who starred in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its 2014 sequel, previously appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), sharing the role with Holland and Maguire.
While secrecy surrounded that film to avoid spoilers, Garfield made it clear that fans should not expect him in the upcoming superhero ensemble set to premiere December 18, 2026.
In addition, Garfield confirmed he would not appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, adding, “I’m gonna disappoint you. Yeah, no. But I know no one’s gonna trust anything I say from now on.”
