Second mpox case reported in Sindh

Severe wounds and lesions were found on the patient's face, hands, feet, throat, and anus

The second case of mpox has emerged in Sindh. According to the Health Department, the patient is 28 years old and began showing symptoms of the disease on September 15.

A spokesperson for the Health Department said that the patient had recently travelled from Dubai to Pakistan and reported having had sexual contact with another man.

Severe wounds and lesions were found on the patient's face, hands, feet, throat, and anus.

According to the Health Department, samples from the patient have been collected for confirmatory testing, and all of his contacts are being traced and monitored.
