Ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and wife still together after Coldplay kiss cam controversy
Ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his wife Megan Kerrigan have shown they are still together months after his Coldplay kiss cam scandal. New photos published this week revealed the couple spending time outdoors, suggesting their marriage has endured despite public scrutiny.
The images, obtained by Daily Mail on September 30, captured the couple walking hand-in-hand and enjoying a sunset picnic on the beach. The pair, who share two sons, were seen wearing wedding bands while sitting together on lounge chairs, eating snacks and drinking sodas before heading out for a stroll.
The outing marks a significant development given the events of July, when Byron was filmed embracing former Astronomer HR executive Kristin Cabot during Coldplay’s kiss cam segment at a Boston concert.
The moment drew widespread attention online, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joking from the stage, “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”
At the time, both Byron and Cabot were married. Megan Kerrigan briefly stepped away from social media and was reported to have left the family’s Massachusetts home for their property in Maine.
In August, Cabot filed for divorce from her husband Andrew, who later said their separation had already begun before the concert incident.
Byron and Cabot resigned from their executive roles at Astronomer following the controversy.
