Conor McGregor has been vocal about his anticipated return to the UFC, sharing training updates and even hinting at his participation in the historic UFC White House card. The event, scheduled for June 2026 to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, will be a major milestone for both the UFC and America.

McGregor, who has been away from the octagon since his last fight in July 2021, took to his X account to make an ambitious claim about his return. The former two-division UFC champion wrote: “$100 million to fight at the White House along with 100 U.S ‘Golden Visas’ for myself and family and friends. I look very forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!”

Along with the claim, McGregor also posted a video showcasing his training progress. He expressed his excitement for his comeback, stating: “Just over 8 months to UFC White House. I look forward to seeing my body shape up. My shot selection refining. My masterpiece to be painted.”

The UFC White House card, initially set for July 4, 2026, has been moved to June due to logistical reasons. McGregor has been eyeing a fight with Michael Chandler at the event, having previously been scheduled to meet Chandler at UFC 303 before withdrawing due to a toe injury.

Speaking on Fox News, McGregor expressed his eagerness to face Chandler at the iconic event, saying, "Michael Chandler and myself have done The Ultimate Fighter. We've had a good back-and-forth. He's a good, tough guy. The Mac is excited to get back for sure."

Despite not having fought since breaking his leg in 2021, McGregor is confident in his return and his ability to reclaim his place at the top. UFC CEO Dana White has indicated that McGregor will headline the event, which promises to feature the best fight card in UFC history.
