Shae Gill's 'Insecurity' is finally out

Singer Shae Gill has officially released her new track 'Insecurity', announcing the news through an emotional Instagram post.

"Insecurity is finally out now!! This song has been long overdue and I'm so excited to be finally sharing this with you!" she wrote, thanking fans for their patience and expressing her gratitude. "I love you all very much," she wrote.

She credited producer Mushtaq Elektrik for helping turn the track into "a banger". She wrote: "It's been such a dream come true working with @mushtaqelektrik! Thank you for making this song such a banger!"

The singer, who became a social media sensation after the release of her Coke Studio hit 'Pasoori' alongside Ali Sethi, said she was "full of gratitude and excitement" as she unveiled her latest work.

Shae's growing popularity has kept her in the spotlight, with fans eager to learn more about her journey. Spotify Pakistan previously highlighted her rise, calling her their "favourite fairytale" in a Q&A clip.

"From her BFF's room to the Coke Studio stage, Shae Gill is our favourite fairytale," the platform wrote. Those who have followed Shae from the start would recall her early recognition came with a rendition of Faiz Ahmed Faiz's 'Aaj Bazaar Mai', recorded for a local publication.

Reflecting on her beginnings, the Lahore-based artist shared, "We just started recording videos then and that's how Shae Gill started." She described being influenced by "people who live their life passionately."

Shae Gill's latest release adds another chapter to her evolving musical journey. With 'Insecurity' now streaming and plans to focus on writing and classical training, Shae Gill is setting the stage for the next chapter of her musical fairy tale.
