
A Senate sub-committee has recommended passage of a university bill, stressing that approval be tied to the fulfillment of HEC requirements, particularly to safeguard the interests of students from Balochistan.
The Senate Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training's sub-committee met on Monday at Parliament House to consider the private member's "University of Business, Sciences and Technology Bill, 2025."
The meeting was convened by Senator Dr Afnanullah Khan and attended by Senator Naseema Ehsan and Senator Abdul Shakoor Khan.
