Strengthening economy: KU holds workshop on economic growth

KARACHI: The economics department of Karachi University held a workshop on framework for economic growth in Pakistan on Tuesday. It was held in collaboration with the Planning Commission of Pakistan, the Governance Institutes Network International and the department for international development. “The economy of the country cannot be strengthened without paying due attention to education,” said Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, senior education minister, who presided over the seminar.
