Federal Minister for Communications Aleem Khan inaugurated the construction of the Park View City protective embankment with a landmark groundbreaking ceremony.

He announced a relief package worth Rs1 billion for residents affected by recent flooding of the Ravi River, assuring that compensation would be delivered directly to every affected household. In addition, he waived two months of development charges in the five impacted blocks to provide immediate financial relief.

The embankment, a 30-foot-tall protective structure, will cover all blocks of the housing society. The project, initiated in response to the recent floods, is scheduled to be completed within 100 days, ensuring both timely relief and long-term safety for residents.

The ceremony was attended by Federal Minister and Chairman Vision Group Aleem Khan, Park View City CEO Junaid Amin, and Director Sales & Marketing Naeem Warraich.

Aleem Khan praised the tireless efforts of Park View City’s management, lauding their commitment to supporting residents during challenging times and leading the community toward recovery and growth.

“This embankment is more than a protective measure—it represents our vision of blending innovation with responsibility. We are determined to safeguard our residents while continuing to build a progressive and thriving community,” he said.
