Charli XCX and George Daniel marked their marriage with a second wedding in Sicily, nearly two months after their first ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in London.
The Brat singer and The 1975 drummer invited a larger group of friends and family to join them for the Italian celebration, including Daniel’s bandmate Matty Healy, his mother Denise Welch and his fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel.
For the ceremony, Charli wore a sheer white gown with spaghetti straps, a short V-neckline and a floor-length skirt with a train. The translucent design revealed a white corset and matching underwear, styled with white leather pumps. She completed the look with diamond drop earrings, rings and a bracelet, carrying a bouquet of small white flowers. Daniel wore a tan suit with an open cream shirt.
Photos show the couple walking hand-in-hand, exchanging their first kiss and pouring pink sparkling wine into stacked glasses. Charli was also seen in wraparound white sunglasses, adding a playful touch to her bridal look. Guests cheered as the newlyweds made their way down the aisle.
Speaking to People in July, a source said: “They’ve always dreamed of a big party in Italy. Somewhere beautiful and private, where all their friends can let loose. This was always the plan.”
