Security forces killed a key commander of the outlawed TTP Gul Bahadur group in a successful operation in Bannu's Jani Khel area, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
According to security sources, the slain terrorist was identified as Aleemul Haq, also known as Commander Mansoor Jani Khel. He was directly leading attacks against the army and had recently attempted to blockade the Tochi check-post. During the operation, a fierce exchange of fire took place between security personnel and terrorists. Commander Mansoor sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
