The Coldplay concert kiss cam moment featuring Kristin Cabot and former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron sparked widespread attention online, and now, Andrew Cabot has addressed the speculation through a representative.
According to a statement given to People, a spokeswoman for Andrew confirmed that he and Kristin Cabot “were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert.”
She further explained, “Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening. Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.”

The viral kiss cam moment quickly drew public scrutiny, eventually leading both Kristin Cabot and Andy Byron to step down from their leadership roles at Astronomer.
