BADIN:

Recent monsoon rains have brought mixed fortune for farmers, with some crops thriving while others suffer losses. According to an agricultural survey, paddy cultivated on 315,052 acres benefited, while sugarcane grown on 25,945 acres received 100 per cent advantage.

However, 5,300 acres of cotton, out of 26,501 acres, submerged. Other crops and vegetables cultivated on 110,107 acres also saw 16,516 acres affected.
