Wheat Purchase: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa saved Rs2b
Minister for Food Shuja Khan said that the province had saved Rs2 billion in the purchase of wheat in the current year

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food Shuja Khan said on Monday that the province had saved Rs2 billion in the purchase of wheat in the current year, as its wheat storage capacity was 300,000 tons. He said that the government was constructing six to seven godowns in every district of Khyber-Pakthunkhwa to enhance the wheat storage capacity. Meanwhile, the provincial assembly approved Zakat and Ushar Bill 2011 for debate.
