KARACHI:

Three young girls from Karachi have won top honours at the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) 2025 Sindh Nationals, securing their place at the World Robotics Olympiad Global Finals in Singapore this November.

The team, known as "PowerPuff Innovators," consists of three Grade VIII students - Emaan Zehra, Anaya Anas, and Ayra Rizvi - all aged between 12 to 13 years.

Competing in the Future Innovators Junior category, they not only secured 1st position at the Sindh Nationals but also earned the Girls in STEM Award. Nationally, they stood second overall among 51 teams from Punjab and Sindh. Haque Academy's PowerPuff Innovators team has designed an AI-powered financial literacy and management robot that uses a smart camera system to guide users in making better purchasing decisions, promoting financial discipline and awareness.

The World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) is a prestigious international robotics competition that inspires creativity, innovation, and STEM skills among young students worldwide. This year's theme, "The Future of Robots," challenges participants to design and build robotic solutions to real-world problems.

Representing Pakistan on the global stage, the PowerPuff Innovators will be the only team from Pakistan to compete at WRO Global 2025. Their journey is an example of how STEM education is empowering the next generation of Pakistani girls to lead with innovation and confidence.
