Rampage Jackson says son Raja should face jail time after Syko Stu attack
Former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has weighed in on his son Raja’s involvement in the recent attack on professional wrestler Syko Stu, saying that while his son deserves accountability, claims of attempted murder go too far.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani on Wednesday, Jackson said Raja, 25, went too far during the incident, which left Stu hospitalized with serious injuries. “Raja, I think that he should do a little [jail] time, do a little community service, and go to anger management class, get some therapy,” said Jackson, 47.
At the same time, Jackson rejected suggestions that Raja intended to take Stu’s life. “It wasn’t attempted murder because he wasn’t trying to kill that guy,” Jackson insisted. When pressed by Helwani, he repeated his view: “Because that’s my son. I know my son. Roger probably didn’t even know how bad he hurt that guy. He wasn’t trying to kill nobody.”
Jackson also pointed to what he sees as broader responsibility, criticizing event organizers for allowing his son to participate in a professional wrestling match without proper experience. “Raja was in the act as a pro wrestler, but he ain’t no pro wrestler,” Jackson said. “The promoters had no reason putting my son in that ring. But it was no attempted murder.”
Law enforcement has not yet filed charges. Sources told TMZ the investigation remains active, with more interviews still to be conducted.
There was positive news on Stu’s condition, as his wife, Contessa, announced that he had been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home from multiple injuries. However, with the investigation ongoing, Raja’s legal future remains uncertain.
