Dylan O’Brien and Tyler Posey, remembered by fans as Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall from MTV’s Teen Wolf, reunited at the Los Angeles premiere of Twinless on Tuesday, September 2.

Footage captured by The Hollywood Reporter and later shared on X showed the former co-stars embracing before launching into an animated conversation on the red carpet. O’Brien, 34, stars in Twinless, set for release on Friday, September 5, while Posey, 33, attended to support his longtime friend.

During their exchange, Posey rested a hand on O’Brien’s shoulder, and the pair shared laughter when Posey clasped him by both shoulders. They embraced a second time before moving down the press line, though the clip showed them still chatting as they walked.

Teen Wolf, which ran from 2011 to 2017, followed a high school student’s transformation into a werewolf. The friendship between Scott and Stiles formed the show’s emotional core, bolstered by Posey and O’Brien’s natural chemistry on screen and a close relationship off screen.

Their bond, however, has occasionally been tested by busy schedules. In October 2023, Posey told The New York Post that O’Brien was invited but unable to attend his wedding to singer Phem. While O’Brien and fellow co-star Dylan Sprayberry were absent, other cast members—including Colton Haynes, Khylin Rhambo, Tyler Hoechlin, and JR Bourne—were present to celebrate.

O’Brien also chose not to participate in Teen Wolf: The Movie, which premiered in January 2023. Posey told E! News that despite the absence, O’Brien stayed connected during production. “There’s no love lost,” Posey said. “I love him so much and he helped really shape Teen Wolf, just his energy alone.”
