Three men allegedly commit suicides

KARACHI:

A young man reportedly committed suicide in the Lines Area by jumping from the eighth floor of a multi-storey private school, within the jurisdiction of Brigade police station. The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Usman, a resident of North Karachi employed in the school. After a post-mortem examination, the deceased's body was handed over to his family.

Meanwhile, the body of a police officer was found hanging in a house in Nazimabad No 4. It was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Bilal, son of Ahmed Siddiqui, a police constable who worked as an IT operator at Nazimabad police station. SHO Nazimabad reported that he had been stressed for the past few days but had not shared the reason for his distress with anyone.

Separately, 26-year-old Muhammad Usama reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside a house near Shah Mazar, in the Malir City area.

The deceased's body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital, and was later handed over to his family who refused further proceedings.
