Lady Gaga, known for her previous roles in American Horror Story and A Star Is Born, is not only appearing in Wednesday, but also contributing musically. Her new single, “The Dead Dance,” will debut alongside the season’s release. Speaking to Netflix about the track, Gaga shared, “The inspiration for ‘The Dead Dance’ was a breakup... but it becomes about having fun with your friends when you’ve been through something tough and amazing.”

The second season features returning characters such as Pugsley Addams (Isaac Ordonez), Thing (Victor Dorobantu), Gomez Addams (Luis Guzmán), Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Grandmama Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley), Lurch (Joonas Suotamo), and Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen). Directed and executive produced by Tim Burton, alongside showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar, the season will be released in two parts, with the first already available and the second dropping on September 3.

Fans can expect a darker, more intense storyline — with Lady Gaga’s debut adding a new layer of intrigue to the eerie halls of Nevermore Academy.
