Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has assured that all minority religious sites damaged during recent floods, including Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, will be restored to their original condition on priority, the military's media wing reported on Friday.

During his visit to the flood-hit districts of Punjab, including Sialkot, Shakargarh, Narowal, and Kartarpur, the army chief met members of the Sikh community, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

He said it was the responsibility of the state and its institutions to protect religious sites of minorities, reaffirming that Pakistan would “leave no stone unturned” in fulfilling this duty.
