Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating a major milestone as her breakthrough album Short n’ Sweet turns one.
Released on August 23, 2024, the record brought her first Grammy wins, a number one single, and viral phrases that became part of pop culture.
Carpenter marked the anniversary on Instagram, thanking fans for embracing the songs, singing along at shows, and making the past year one of the most rewarding of her career. She described the album as one of her “most prized possessions” and praised the collaborators who helped her bring it to life.
Alongside the celebrations, Carpenter is keeping fans excited with new music. On August 29, she will release the music video for "Tears", a track from her upcoming album Man’s Best Friend, which is also due out the same day.
She teased the video with a short Instagram clip, showing herself in a vintage-style outfit beside a classic car.
The pop star is also preparing for a high-profile performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 7. Nominated for eight awards, Carpenter will deliver a medley of songs inspired by Dolly Parton’s film Nine to Five, as reported by The Sun.
