Torrential rains have gripped K-P, with intermittent downpours continuing since morning. In Lund Khwar, a spell of heavy rain accompanied by hailstorms destroyed standing crops. While no human or property losses have been reported so far, local farmers have suffered severe damage.
Meanwhile, a cloudburst in the upper area of Yakhtangay, Shangla, triggered flash flooding that swept away a car and washed away a section of road, cutting off traffic.
