HYDERABAD:

A resident of Latifabad Unit No 7 has sought protection against alleged blackmailers who she says are threatening her family.

Speaking at a press conference at the Hyd Press Club, Rukhsana accused Sunny Bhatti, son of Sikandar, of snatching her son Kamran's mobile phone at gunpoint, extracting its data and later editing it. She alleged that Bhatti was now demanding Rs100,000 as extortion and threatening to make the videos public if his demand was not met.

She further claimed that Bhatti, who she described as a liquor dealer, regularly appears outside her house in an intoxicated state along with his associates and hurls threats at her family. "Due to constant fear, we have stopped leaving our home," she told journalists.
