Four killed, eight injured in lightning, electrocution incidents

BADIN/DIGRI:

Tragic incidents of lightning strikes and electrocution claimed four lives and left eight people injured in different areas.

In Badin, lightning struck Nabi Bux Arain village near Neo Dambalo, killing two young herders, Fakeero and Hari Bheel, on the spot, while two others — Mo Bheel and Ramesh Kolhi — sustained severe burn injuries. The victims were shifted to Civil Hospital Dighri, from where the injured were later referred to Hyderabad. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.

In Digri, a labourer, Thanwar son of Chaman Kolhi, died when lightning struck him while he was cutting grass in an agricultural field near Kashif Arain village, Deh 170. In a separate incident at Town Mir Muhammad Hussain, a youth named Parkash was electrocuted during the rain.

Meanwhile, six members of a family, including children, were injured when lightning struck the house of Badho Bheel in Deh 170-C. The injured — identified as Badho Bheel, his sons Jhodho and Sajan, and his daughters Tilko, Reshman, and Chago — were shifted to Taluka Hospital Digri for treatment.
