Kadokawa has announced that the Ryoko Kui Exhibition and Delicious in Dungeon Exhibition will open in New York City this autumn, following earlier showings in Tokyo and a tour across Japan and Asia. The event will take place at Chelsea Walls (231 10th Avenue) from October 10 to 26 2025.

The exhibition will showcase a wide collection of artwork by manga author Ryoko Kui. Alongside Delicious in Dungeon, visitors will see material from Kui’s earlier works, including The Dragon’s School Is on Top of the Mountain (2011), Seven Little Sons of the Dragon (2012), and Terrarium in Drawer (2013).

Attendees will also be able to explore the creative process behind Kui’s art through concept sketches, a long-form interview, and time-lapse videos that document her illustration techniques.

In addition, immersive photo areas will recreate settings and details from the series, including dungeon monsters and realistic food replicas inspired by scenes from Delicious in Dungeon.

The manga has earned significant recognition in recent years. In 2024, Delicious in Dungeon won Best Comic at the 55th Seiun Awards, Best Continuing Manga Series at the inaugural American Manga Awards, and Best Manga at the Harvey Awards.

Interest in the series has also been strengthened by its anime adaptation from studio Trigger. The first season is currently available on Netflix, with a second season in production. For readers, the manga is published in English by Yen Press.

The exhibition offers fans in the United States a chance to experience both Kui’s most celebrated series and her broader creative portfolio.

Further details and updates will be shared through the event’s official social channels as the October opening approaches.
