EV scooters for minority, women workers

The Workers Welfare Board Sindh (WWBS) has announced a series of welfare initiatives for industrial workers from minority communities and women, including the provision of electric bikes, as part of Maarka-e-Haq and Independence Day celebrations.

Sindh Labour Secretary Rafiq Qureshi said to strengthen the institution's financial credibility, WWBS will invest Rs3 billion in SECP-approved Shariah-compliant Sukuk Bonds.

The move aims to generate funds to expand facilities for workers.
