Actor Joe Keery is reportedly in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Harry Osborn in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth MCU instalment in the Spider-Man series starring Tom Holland.
If confirmed, this would be the first time Harry Osborn appears in the MCU. While the character is a central figure in Spider-Man’s long-running comic history and has featured in previous live-action adaptations, he has been absent from Holland’s Spider-Man films to date.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to represent a narrative reset for the hero and his cinematic journey.
Reports indicate the film could draw from the “Brand New Day” comic arc, which redefined Peter Parker’s personal and superhero life. In that storyline, Harry Osborn’s role was pivotal, hinting that Keery's potential casting could signal a significant character arc.
The character of Harry Osborn has historically been portrayed as Peter Parker’s best friend, with complicated ties to the Osborn family legacy and the villainous Green Goblin.
Additional rumours surrounding the project suggest actress Sadie Sink may also appear in an undisclosed role, further fuelling speculation about the film’s ensemble.
Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed Keery's involvement. Fans and industry watchers alike will be awaiting announcements as production progresses.
