Bighit Music has officially announced its first new boy group in six years, revealing the name Cortis in a midnight KST announcement on August 7. The group’s debut date is set for August 18.

Cortis will feature five members: Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. This marks Bighit Music’s first group launch since the debut of TXT in 2019.

Alongside the announcement, Bighit Music released a short teaser video offering fans an initial glimpse into the group’s concept and style.

The teaser also hinted at an upcoming YouTube video set to premiere on August 10 at midnight KST via the HYBE LABELS channel.

As part of their digital rollout, Cortis has launched official accounts on social media platforms X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.

Anticipation for Cortis has been growing steadily among fans, especially given Bighit’s history of launching internationally successful acts.

The new group is expected to introduce a fresh sound and style as part of HYBE’s expanding roster.
